



Skyfall Villa occupies the edge of a 90-meter cliff in Uluwatu, selected for its rare 180-degree view over southern Bali. The cliffside position defines the villa’s composition: the building opens toward the horizon, while two separate volumes create distinct perspectives and preserve privacy.
Natural cinema works as a planning principle. The living room, master suite, kitchen, and meditation area are positioned so that each space receives its own visual frame. Floor-to-ceiling glazing maintains direct contact between the interior and the surrounding environment, while sloped glass planes strengthen the depth of the view and emphasize the continuity of the horizon.
The openness of the main façade is achieved through structure. The frontal zone is free of columns; the load is carried by powerful cantilevered slabs and structural elements designed to support up to 2,500 tonnes. The horizontal slabs also act as shading canopies, blocking direct sunlight while preserving a clean line of sight. The villa is arranged across three levels: social spaces on the main level, five bedrooms and private terraces above, and a fitness area, cinema, and technical spaces integrated into the cliff below.
The interior is based on the soft plasticity of natural forms. A light palette, curved partitions, wall petals, and rounded furniture volumes refer to the waves, wind, and natural contours of Bali. The original unstable limestone cliff was reinforced, retaining walls were constructed, terraced levels were formed, and a new landscaped plateau was created. More than 90% of local vegetation is planned to be preserved and replanted. The project also includes Low-E glazing, an intelligent climate and ventilation system with CO₂ and humidity sensors, KNX-based infrastructure, and structural calculations for seismic impact and extreme wind loads
